The well-connected Neal Kwatra had Corey Johnson as a key client in 2017, and Metropolitan Public Strategies is already in demand heading into 2020 and 2021. The firm did major work in several 2018 House races, bolstering candidates like Anthony Brindisi and Antonio Delgado. In 2019, it assisted a successful effort to allow undocumented immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses in New York. The firm, which has expanded into Florida, also scooped up Daily News scribe Ken Lovett in February.
